In June 2016 I was asked by the designer William Dill-Russell to collaborate with him and others in experimenting with advant-garde themes with a Marie Antoinette influence for a photoshoot. I was obviously more than happy to get creative with these hair ideas and what follows are my favourite shots of the day.
I took the inspiration from my last hair chalk post and created this photoshoot and finally the photos are here. With a variety of different colours used we wanted to create something interesting but subtle with a delicate feel to it.
Balayage is made for me, Lovely sun-bleached looking hair that requires zero maintenance. Splashes of pretty pastel’s and brazenly bright hues are what set the tone for this look.
As part of my ongoing mission to celebrate my craft and the relationship we have with our hair, I have teamed up with some of my favourite people to produce a small series of open and honest introductions, supported by a short Q&A covering items on work, play, life and hair.
